FYI Toshiba warranty can be extended to 2 years http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/generic/warranties-insurance/
EDIT: sorry, I was wrong, the Toshiba you list isn't on the list -> here

Comparing processor oomph, Toshiba benchmark is 1463, Lenovo 1570 (slightly better)

Sorry, cannot add much; at this price you're buying a budget laptop that will be fine for light use (browsing, email, office); battery wont be brilliant either; also crap for games. One other suggestion -> a slightly more costly Lenovo for £300 but has a big disk and lots of memory -> https://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/Lenovo_B550_1029392.html

I just want a laptop not sure about netbooks if they do the same as a laptop with same size screen yes. Otherwise No. why I am inquiring about laptops and stuff I was hoping that someone in the know would advise me of

    1. If the make was ok, as in curry's own compared with a Canon or Nikon.

    2. and what it has inside for its age if its any good i want something with pretty good guts not something that will catch fire if you know what i am desperately trying to get at.

Me and the wife are a bit old in the tooth for games so this is good for us surfing, Facebook, moneysaving expert and talking to our Son in the Army.
