I have a Virgin stocks & shares isa probably a medium risk,I just leave it alone and whomever does the necessary investing, currently some £5000 invested & over the past 2 years it has gained close to £300 interest which I guess would have been more if not for the poor performance of the economy ect.
I am thinking I should transfere it elsewhere to another s&s or to a cash isa but if a s&s then where as I don't want to have to do any investment work myself?

The Virgin ISA offers three funds. When is low risk, one is medium/high and the other is high.currently some £5000 invested & over the past 2 years it has gained close to £300 interest
The fact you mention interest suggests it could only be their gilt fund as that is classed as interest. That is the lowest risk fund they have. The equity funds dont pay interest. Or you are mixing up your terminology?I guess would have been more if not for the poor performance of the economy ect.
The last 2 years have been spectacular for equities. One of the best periods on record. Although if you are not in equities, you wouldnt benefit from it.I am thinking I should transfere it elsewhere to another s&s or to a cash isa but if a s&s then where as I don't want to have to do any investment work myself?
Virgin are an expensive provider and have a poor qualify fund choice. You dont know where you are invested and what it is doing. So, whilst finding better is easy as Virgin is such a poor choice, why do you think you should transfer it elsewhere?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
