Finding a good reputable persian breeder in london

Hello Everyone,

We've just lost our beloved male persian cat of 20 years old a month ago. We are looking to buy another male persian kitten about 12 weeks old as we want for our kitten to grow with us just like our Coco did if anyone know of any good reputable persian breeder in London Area please let us know.

It is important to us that the breeder love and especialise in persian cat we don't want a breeder that just breed persian cat for money without any love or care for the animal.

Many thanks in advance

  • Hi Aimee,

Sorry to hear you lost your cat, we had a persian who lived to 18 so not far off yours.

Have you thought about adopting an older persian, there is a persian rescue who take in and rehome persians :0)

Sorry dont know of a breeder in London as I'm up north.........
My post count doesn't reflect the amount of time spent on here :0) I just keep forgetting my login details - now saved.

    Hi Myrtle,

Thanks for your reply it is much appreciated. 18 years old is a very good age for a persian as their life expectancy are between 12- 15 years of age, we were very lucky to have coco for so long, he barely ever was sick nor been to the vet, we only had problem with him in the last week of his life even though so very painful to see him tire so easily but he didn't suffer at all, we decided to have him put down the morning I could not feed him nor adminstered his medications, he became to weak during the night and had no strength to even being fed.

I rang the persian adopted place but having a fully grown adopted cat can have it's downside that's the reason we are looking to buy one from a good breeder, it's seems quite hard to find persian breeder in London, Outside of London there are more Breeders available, anyway we shall take our time looking to ensure we found a healthy persian kitten importantly with pkd negatives.
