Spiggle - huge hugs and get better vibes
Need to update my siggy with some spends for today
We have a freezer that is gradually getting warmer!! So have made a promise to each other that we will only buy; bread, veg, milk and kiddies bits to freeze so that we can run the freezer down and get the one out of the Garage and into the kitchen - plan to be able to do that by April so the kitchen freezer can then go.
Have a good weekend everyone

Evening, peeps! Just reporting that I've had my first NSD of the month - may there be many more! A couple of weeks ago I picked up a couple of packs of pork ribs from Mr M at about 80p per pack, so we're having those tonight all marinaded up in some Chinese-style spices, honey and a bit of lemon/sherry and we'll have them with either some potato wedges or some rice. I used up the last of my soy sauce in the marinade, but I think I can work something out for the rice.

I have put some potato boulangiere in to cook for the first time from an OS recipe off here somewhere. Comfort food requried today to make feel better with this cold
So todays food is all storecupboard - left overs for lunch, beef brisket for tea - looks like will be a lot of leftovers to use up - similar meal and maybe some pasta based meals too and maybe a sandwich or two. Will be making some breadrolls for tomorrow as need some for fish finger sarnies for snacks tomorrow
Will be using up this week pasta, tinned toms, leftover beef, plenty of veg and some chicken in a stir fry and some salad and beetroot in the fridge then reassess what I need next weekendfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

£1.89 spent in Tesco today on cooking oil, cotton buds and a cheap pack of biscuits! I also got some sweets for work, partly for me, but others helped so i'm not counting them. Felt really dizzy all day so got the biscuits to have with my cup of tea in the morning in future.Grocery challenge - Nov: £52/£100

Spent £51.56 so far on food. Should last the week easily. Plus some things are bags of items like flour that will last for a while (hopefully). Off now to try making my first ever loaf of bread in my new breadmaker.....0

Another £5.16 spent today, after popping into Mr W for pastry I came out with pastry, 8 sausages, a pork pie, bombay potato dish and 1.8 kg of chips
I've just looked at how many weeks there are left in March and how much i've spent already  Suppose we could do beans on toast for the last week of the month though

What a busy day! It was DS's 14th birthday. Spent £12.22 in Mo****ons and £8 at fish shop on Mussels for birthday dinner. Made a cheese and ham pie as well since I don't like mussels. The cake was a big success.
Really tired this evening. I spent the afternoon getting to garden ready for my veg. Did a lot of tidying up.GC 2011 Feb £626.89/£450 NSD3/7 March £531.26/£450 April £495.99/£500 NSD 0/7 May £502.79/£500
