Can I get my Kingston Flash drive to work on Mac?

I bought a "Kingston DataTraveler 120" 32GB Flash Drive about a year ago and on the Kingston website it does say Windows only.

Is there any workaround to allow it to be used on a Mac, like by re-formatting it or something? I did try this just once using my wife's windows laptop but it still didn't work.

When I plug it into the Mac's USB drive, it does not show on the desktop or in Finder.
Thanks

If it is formatted using NTFS then the Mac won't see it, shouldn't have a problem if it's formatted to FAT32 though.
Remember kids, it's the volts that jolt and the mills that kill.
  • If it's formatted in NTFS then you need something like NTFS-3G (free)
If there's nothing on the drive it's probably easier to reformat from scratch for the mac, or use FAT/32 if it's to be used on both systems.
