ugly pipe box to be covered

I have two pipe boxes in my cloakroom that are just thin wood (plywood?) and look awful. There are tiles on the floor so I can get rid of the box as the floor would need retiled but I would like to cover them up so they look nicer.
I don't really want to tile them unless it was on a frame or another panel that could be lifted off for any maintenance work. Any ideas some an inexpensive easy solution that I could do.
I was thinking of getting a joiner in to make the equivalent of radiator covers for them if I can't find any MSE suggestions.

cover the plywood in tiles and fix the panel with screws.
use cups/caps to cover the screws.

Good idea. I am not diy minded at all so would that work best with the tiles that come on mesh so I don't have to cut any tiles but could just cut the joining bits with scissors? If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0

Thanks, sounds like an almost manageable plan. My next post will be "I have totally !!!!ed up a simple basic idiot proof diy job, how can I fix it?"If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0
