Thu 24th Feb - what small DFW things are you doing today??!!

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free :money:
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.:j:j:j

Morning All, thanks for starting us of La E
I'm a bit grumpy today and need to shake it off, as frankly I don't have time to be mardy :rotfl:
List for today:
[STRIKE]
Get Euros - didn't do this yesterday
[/STRIKE]Get new headlight and oild for car - can claim back through work expenses
[STRIKE]
check banking - my expenses have been sat at work for nearly 2 weeks waiting to be authorised  no one thought to tell me so I could give them to someone else to sign. Outshot - no reimbursement this week, will arrive whilst we're away - double  Had to just pay the minimum payment on my CC. Only slight blessing is that I use my own CC (for Mr T points), if I used my work card it would all be going out automatically and I would be £1400 out of pocket
Lunch/tea from stores
Buy nappies whilst out, DD usually wears reusables, but taking disposables away as she won't need that many as she'll use swim nappies too.
Get some tea bags, coffee & sweetner to take away, much cheaper here and light enoiugh to carry
[/STRIKE]
Think thats about all folks, have a great day0 -
Woohoo - two days off for the witch!
Today I am discovering the delights of Oxford, and tomorrow I'm off to sewing school to make waspie corsets so two very on-DFW days for me.
There is, therefore, no list for me today or tomorrow folks! Ah, thinking about it, I am taking as much of the fabric, eyelets and lacing that I can so spend tomorrow should be about half the usual cost. Mustn't get carried away in the fabic shops though
I'll be back with a huge list on Saturday, stitchy xMaking magic with fabricLight travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.0 -
