Been with NU Home Emergency Insurance Cover for the past year.

Payments are soon to increase from £5.99 to £7.95 per month as of 21st November 06.

Sorry.....didnt give you guys much time to help me out, but are there any better offers out there???

I have only just signed up with Norwich union for emergency cover, cost £71.

So next year, going by what you just wrote, I will be paying much more.

Have you ever claimed on your emergency cover?

As for knowing a better deal than this, if indeed it is a good deal. I don't know....yet.

hi i'm currently with NU and been trying to make a claim, its the first claim i have ever had to make and to be honest i'm not impressed with how i've been treat so far. Phoned up yesterday after work and was told i'd get a call back either last night or this morning( no phone call) so i decided to call them, i explained to the woman on the line what had happened and she asked me to hold the line, after about 10 seconds of silence i hear an automated recording telling me the office was closed and then it cut me off.:mad:

if this is how they treat all customers i would advise people to stay away!

Obviously there may be differences ?
