Also shop around for life insurance- yours looks a bit on the high side.
But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,

Thanks guys for your replies. My council tax is currently £70 per month but I am subject to an attachment of earnings for arrears at previous address at £136 per month - this will last for another year.
Is your £1000/month pay before or after the attachment of earnings? If it is after, then your SoA should be corrected - either you should show your income before the AoE, or you should show the council tax as £70

If you have an old banger of a car your insurance seems VERY high! Have you checked to see if you could get this cheaper even if you're not due for renewal yet...
Also compare BOTH 3rd Party and fully comp - some will be cheaper for one, some for the other... I know it makes no sense!
But £600 per year for "an old banger" seems VERY high unless you have some serious pointage!

Sorry for not being clearer. The £1000 is after the AOE - take home pay used to be £1136 (£17Kpa)

I have 3 points, insurance is fully comp with business insurance as I use it for work also declared an accident that wasn't my fault and didn't even claim for.

Then the council tax you show on your SoA should be just £70, leaving around £70 for debt repayments and about £50 short each month.
