Hi
Has anyone dealt with these companies? Please tell me your experience...
We are due to complete on a purchase on Friday, we have exchange contracts at solicitor, but they are still asking for proof of income??
We have a mortgage offer that we got a couple of weeks ago, but my gut feeling is they are going to withdraw it at the last minute.
I have googled this company, but not much comes up,
ANy info would be great.

Have you had a mortgage offer? Who is the lender?
Why not send the proof of income if this will stop the worryingI am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Yes I have a mortgage offer, and I have sent proof of income many times! But on Tuesday they asked for three months banks statements (already done this) and yesterday more proof of income, we are suppose to get our new property tomorrow!
I am just asking if this is normal, I would of thought at this stage they would not need anymore of the above. I am worried that the mortgage company are about to withdraw their offer!! Can they do that? Is all of the above standard before completion?0 -
Who is the lender? Was the application a 'fast track'?
Could be that the broker has not needed to submit proof of income to get the offer but require it for their own records (which they should have requested initially) of the lender has requested proof after offer due to an audit or similar.
Best to ask the broker why they need it now although I do not see why you cannot just send it as it will put your mind at ease.
Lenders can wothdraw offers at any time if they wish but in reality there is usually a very good reason to do soI am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Normally, lenders carry out their routine status checks such as income verification, ID/PoA and bank statements before a surveyor is instructed. They certainly used to get everything they needed before issuing an offer, although reports I hear these days suggest withdrawal of offers just before completion is more prevalent than it ever has been.
Were there conditions in your offer which needed to be met before completion? Is this a commercial property transaction?I am a mortgage broker. I have resent everything they have asked for. THe Brooker is Crystal Mortgages, and the loan of is for a company called Harpmanor Ltd, and yes it is a commercial mortgage.
Tomorrow is completion day, so so far so good! I might be worrying over northing. Its just this company has been a nightmare from day one. Where is the best place to find a good brooker?0 -

Transfer of funds via TT can happen any time before 3:30pm, so it's just a waiting game.I am an Independent Financial AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as an Independent Financial Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
