Wireless mouse/keyboard not connected

I recently moved my pc across the room to a new location and now the wireless mouse/keyboard will not work.

The receiver has the correct lights and I've tried changing the batteries on each item.

I can't find the dvd which came with them to reload it so I guess I have option but to buy another set and reinstall?

I do have a corded mouse but I don't have the software to go with it unfortunately.

There's usually a button on each wireless device and the wired receiver. You probably just need to press the button on the receiver, then (within a second or two) press the button on the wireless device. That should restore the wireless link between them.

I had been pressing the connect buttons on the receiver and mouse etc but at totally different times with long period os time between.

Tried them concurrently and it's now working.
