What is the New World Order?

Conrad Black is part of all this, part of the Bildenberg inner pyramid.
If so, how come he has been to prison and having so much trouble with the law. If they are so powerful, surely they can at least keep themselves out of prison?!
They keep going on about these meetings.
They give a potentially sinister quote, attributed to David Rockefeller. Yet if you try to google it, all you find is conspiracy pages. Besides seeing that quote in this video, how do you know he made it. Is there a video of it?
They are now interviewing a drunk in a bar. Again talking about the secret meeting and Jekyll Island. They are gangsters. Though if he doesn't know what they talk about, I'm not sure ho he knows that.
Now they are showing those limos again, blimey, not bullet proof glass. They are even counting the cars.
A guard politely reminds them to keep off the property. The person in the film then proceeds to harass cars as they pull in, shouting things about a new world order and telling them he won't be a slave. I'm not surprised they have security to keep you out! I would if I were them.
They are starting to talk about the Amero. That is not a hat, but apparently a new currency for Canada / Mexico / US. Though having said new currency, some guy managed to get on CNBC and talk about it in Nov 2006. Nobody seems to have mentioned it since. Funny that.
Hang on, they are talking about a plan to create American, European, Asian and African trading blocks. Turn each one in to a single sovereign entity and then to combine them all in to a super government. This is all part of a plan started 60 years ago. But if you started this 60 years, ago, what is the point, you will be long gone. And what is even the point today, you will be long gone before it happens.
I'm loosing it now, going to stop there for now. 36 mins in. Not actually heard any evidence at this point. Just keep hearing about secret meetings and pyramids.0 -
You can look on resource depletion locally or globally, and in this country we've essentially depleted the coal stocks past the point where they're viable. The response to increasing costs of resources is to find other ways of solving the same problem, and there's no reason whatsoever to believe that this will stop any time soon. As old technologies based on depleting resources fail, new ones are found to replace them or we change our patterns of behaviour.
Past energy transitions were different to the one we're facing today. Moving from wood to coal or coal to oil wasn't primarily caused by depletion and was an incredible return on investment for the economy, because in both cases the alternative was cheap, abundant and more energy dense than the old source of energy.
Trying to move from a society driven by coal, natural gas and oil to one based on renewables is completely different. Renewables are expensive, intermittent, aren't compatible with existing infrastructure and depend on rare earth minerals to function. Trying to develop electric cars as a feasible replacement for the ICE cars is hard enough, trying to develop electric aeroplanes or ships is virtually impossible.
I don't doubt that eventually, we'll move on from fossil fuels, but I think we'll have long abandoned ideas like "economic growth" by then.An 18th Century futurologist looking at the rate of consumption of tallow for candles and extrapolating population growth would reasonably forecast that the world would eventually be walking in darkness for want of animals to render. So it is with the doommongers of today. They fail to anticipate the one completely dependable human attribute, which is ingenuity.
Well, that human "ingenuity" you cite has solved the problem of being unable to increase population from ecological constraints by, among other things, leveraging virtually our entire agricultural system to non-renewable inputs of materials like oil, natural gas and phosphate rock.
Read something like "Eating Fossil Fuels" and tell me our system is sustainable...0 -

Alright fun and games over. lets get down to 'brass tacks' There's a certain phrase often used by politicians and power brokers; 'The New World order, watch these:

Now quit slapping yourselves on the backs about how funny everything is and wake up. Watch the videos above. All these politicians are talking about a New World Order, Don't deny it, watch them. Now come back and tell me that they arn't talking about the same thing. They believe it, they're working towards a new world order while you clowns live in your little fantasy denial world where everyrthing is just oh so funny. So what exactly is the NWO? The politicians of the world are working towards it/believe in it, So what is it? Come on tell me, fantasy or reality? Give us your wisdom. The jokes over, start behaving like grown men, if your able.(which I doubt)Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. 'New world order' is just a political buzzword of the day. I could just as easilly say that 'they' are setting up a 'culture shift' and look, I have all these videos of Cameron, Obama, charities, advisors, bankers, whoever talking about it. None of them are specific about what the 'New world order' refers to, it's just woolly ideas about globalization, democratization, freedom etc. Because it is just rhetoric.“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0

Well, taking the Clinton speech as an example, if you listen to the context it's obvious what he means.
He's talking first about the clearly defined world order from 1945 and 1989 and America's bipartisan political values as a result of standing up to communism. Then he goes on to express regret at the lack of a international order following the collapse of the Soviet Union and lack of bipartisan American values today.
Barack Obama doesn't even mention the phrase "new world order" in his speech. He's essentially trying to repair relations between America and Europe that were severely damaged by the Bush administration's condescending attitude towards "old Europe".Smeagold wrote:The jokes over, start behaving like grown men, if your able.

By the logic you've used to link those videos, I could take any speech by any politician in the world where they are speaking about global issues and say they're talking about a 'New World Order'.
Oh, and it kind of damages the credibility of the Obama video when you accompany his speech with the Star Wars Imperial March theme.0 -
The jokes over, start behaving like grown men, if your able.(which I doubt)
Why would I want to behave like a grown man? I'm a grown woman.
Nobody is saying that the world is a rosy place at the moment and all is well. There are major issues to face for sure, but conspiracy theories don't help.
Seriously, you tell me. If there are to be terrible resource shortages which mean I won't be able to eat or heat my home, why should I invest in gold instead of a ground source heat pump and the seeds/tools needed to turn my back garden into a food production area? If the world is going to be so dangerous in the future, why would I invest in a lump of gold that people might want to rob me for, rather than a gun and lots of bullets?
When supposedly serious YouTube videos are peer reviewed for accuracy, I might start watching them, but until then :rotfl:no chance. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
