Wedding caterer in Milton Keynes / Bletchley area.

A friend of ours is getting married at the end of June, is on a tight budget and is looking for a caterer for her wedding to provide a buffet. The wedding is in Bletchley so we're obviously looking around that area and MK.

I'm looking for any recommendations that I can pass on to our friends.

I'm hoping that a few of you knowledgable lot will be able to help out.

We had contemplated all banding together and trying to sort out the food ourselves, but we're hoping to avoid the hassle.

One of the cheapest options Ive found is a pig roast-much cheaper than a buffet. Im having one for my 50th birthday but they are popular in this area for weddings, christenings and birthdays.The cost per head from the butcher who is coming along with the pig roast is just £2.50 per head.
They dont roast a whole pig when the numbers are lowish--ive got 130 coming to my party-they will bring joints of pre cooked pork, apple sauce and stuffing, and reheat the pork and make the pork baps.Not much clearing up after either--we have bought some gatauxs from Tesco for pud and will make a few cheese, egg baps for any veggies coming.
Cheapest buffet round here is £5.50 per head.
Ask at any of the local butchers and see if they do it!
