"Internally this home has been beautifully presented by the current owners" say the agents.....

    Ha.

Toilet seat left up, loose toilet roll lying next to the bath, miscellaneous toiletries lying around on the bath.......?

    Shabby garden.

Dark photos, the EA needs to learn how to combine flash and natural light.

I agree, I said in a previous post that I have taken new pics and still waiting for them to put them up. The garden has been done since, but seeing as the EAs wont come back out to take new pics I have taken new ones myself, with the garden done, toilet seat down etc.

Decided to change agents as these are useless.

Good for you. At the end of the day the agent is working for you, not the other way round. Did you not have to sign to agree to the details and proof the photos before they were used?

I think your home is lovely, regardless of the toilet seat!!! Love the space in the dining room.

Have you spoken to the manager at the agents and told them your feelings about the way theyre handling the sale and that you are caonsidering moving your property to another agent?

Not yet, we are looking around first to see what other agents are like at the moment, found one that is no sale no fee which we need, and they will put it on rightmove, zoopla etc so thats a start, and they will take 15 pictures as well.

They sent us the contract through the post and before we could sign it and send it back they had already put the house up on their website, so the contract is unsigned.. was wondering if that makes the contract void and we would have to pay them the £260??

...but did you not see/realise any of this BEFORE they arrived for the first set of pictures?

Not really, never done anything like this before, I thought getting the house clean and tidy was the main thing, to be honest I didnt think a toilet seat being up would be a huge deal, in fact it didnt even cross my mind, but now I know :)

The lav seat up is a very minor detail and it's one that armchair nit-pickers like me have altogether too much time to focus on. Naturally, with such a lovely house it wouldn't deter a sensible buyer. Have they put any pictures up of that nice, large kitchen yet?
