Debenhams store cards - no expiry dates - means no balance transfer

Options
I have a debenhams card and wanted to balance tranfer to Bcard under the 0%. When I started the transaction it appears that the debenhams store card does not have an expiry date which means you cannot transfer the balance. Does this seem a loophole with which they can keep hold of your balance at a very high APR? Any ideas on how I can get round this one. Customer services department are hopeless.

it's unusual to be able to BT store cards... often they don't have a 16 digit card number either
unwise to use store cards except for special offers as the APR is usually extremely high

The OP was asking for information on Balance Transfers, not information on how to manage their finances. Sheesh.
  • He got the information he wanted - please read the words it is unusual to be able to BT store cards.

If OP has the newer Debenhams card which I believe is a Mastercard then he would have a 16 digit number AND expiry date.

Was told when using my Debenhams Gold Store card online to use 12/2019 as the expiry date. recommend you try this and it may work.
