Tesco not taking internet coupons

I was really embarrased in Tesco when I tried to hand in 2 money off coupons. One was a coupon from the internet. The assistant shouted that I could not use them and its defrauding the company even trying. The week before they had taken them without a problem. This week I am shopping at Asda.

  • Last week I used printed out internet coupons in Mr T no problem so maybe depends on stores or an over zealous assistant?

It is definately worth calling head office. When M&S had the £5 off £25 spend we asked as soon as we arrived instore if we could use them and was told that they were taking them, but when we got to check out we were then told that we were not and even although we were told we were allowed that, that did not matter, when asking to speak to a manager we were told she was not available and the person we were speaking to was the person in charge!!!!! We were so angry with the way we had been treated and spoken to that we called head office the minute we stepped in the door, head office confirmed that we were allowed to use the vouchers and that they would call our store to confirm with them, they also sent us a gift card for £10 as both my husband and I had a £5 off voucher to use.
