How much have you spent today Friday 17/11?

Good morning lovely DFWs :)

It's Friday at last - she says, having only worked one day this week  Feeling rather chirpy this morning which is fab as I don't like being dark and gloomy for long!

Well, I've already spent £2.15 this morning. Decided to get my team some cakes for holding the fort while I was poorly. They seem happy with them and I've made it clear, this is not going to be a regular thing! :rotfl:

Have a lovely day everyone and keep it low!

Moozie x

Unfortunately i'm working 12 - 8 today, going to get a few things to last me throughout the day, hoping to spend no more than £13 and that includes a taxi home. If i stick to it then i'll have stuck to my weekly budget :j .

  • So far spent £2.27 on posting a baby gift to my friend in USA who's just had a baby boy, awh! Not planning on spending any more today if I can help it as going Xmas shopping on a organised coach trip with "the girls" to Leeds tomorrow so will be spending more than enough then, even if I bargain hunt. Will post off my second reclaiming bank charges letter later now I know they owe me just over £700!! So hopefully soon I can spend a bit more and not feel guilty.
    I will be rich :rotfl:

    Morning all,

I am meeting some friends for lunch today, I have been feeling very blue this week, no real reason as everything in my life is tickety-boo at the moment, maybe it's the weather. Anyway, I have decided that getting out and seeing friends is the best cure, I went out last night and spent slightly more than planned but it was worth it. Tonight I am at a work event, so free and I am looking forward to it as loads of my friends from work are going (and it's a Friday so I won't have to get up early).

    Have a good day everyone!

Hi Moozie, I'm glad it's poet's day today as well. Even though it is absolutely pouring with rain, windy and miserable here
Still, I am planning on a No Spend Day as well.
My daughter and her partner are completing (finally:mad: ) on their new house today, and I have promised to give them a hand moving in - they don't intend to actually move in until tomorrow, but have decided that, since they have a roof over their head (Mine  ) they will spend this evening and tomorrow decorating - so I guess you won't see much of me this evening:beer:

  • You DFWs have been busy! I'm hoping for an NSD today. Unlike Rog2, I'm also hoping that it keeps raining so I'll be less inclined to head to the pub after work!
    Have a great weekend everyone!

  • No work or uni for me today and the heater at the little'uns school is broken so she's home as well - we have NO plans to leave the warmth of the house again!

So far we have posted her letter to Father Christmas - she wanted to get in early incase he got too busy to read it closer to Christmas, if she'd had her way it would've been posted 2 months ago!

Children in Need tonight with a homemade pizza and some popcorn to see us through - all without spending a penny :D

    Mmmmm... cake!

I have the day off today, so a NSD for me. Spent £10 last night on way home on main shopping for the next week, so just a £6 spend in the Farmers Market on Sunday should be enough for us, if OH stops snacking anyway.

HM pizza tonight, may make spag bol for tomorrow too, let it marinade a bit. Housework day today.

Hope you're all smiling - seems like everyone has the pre-christmas blues :( xx
