Haven't they just taken what you owed them?
yes, but also no, because as the customer service woman said they should only take what it says on the invoice.
  • I ordered some boots I was looking for in the original sale - thought what a bargain - plus the free delivery! However meant to arrive today - even had an email confirming they were coming today and no delivery! Phoned customer services and they said next day delivery does not mean it will definitely arrive next day - so just be careful when ordering!

    Hopefully they will arrive Monday!

I had one a few weeks back, I ordered on a saturday and it said it was coming Monday...it arrived the FRIDAY at about 9.30pm!!!! Yet orders I had place after with them arrived before!! All I got back was Delivery cost (I had a code anyway so basically had 3.99 credit) then fond out it was becos there are two delivery men for my area... Half of my orders went to one and half to the other. One was 'too busy' to deliver therefore kept all of te orders for my area until he could be 'bothered' so now if I order I make sure I don't select Monday or Tuesday for Delivery as that way I know the realiable delivery guy will have my stuff!

Next use Hermes delivery service, which employs local people to deliver. I am lucky as my guy is retired and goes out every afternoon to deliver so I always get my packages when I specify, but I have had unreliable couriers in the past...
  • Thanks OP! Just ordered a few bits for my upcoming weekend away!

Last time I bought something from Next online I came home the next day to find it (a skirt) scrunched up and shoved through the letter box. Fortunately it was ok but I sent an email to Next CS but never heard anything back from them. I should be in tommorrow AM when this delivery is scheduled so fingers crossed!

  • Returned two sale items that were faulty back to store today that were outside of the 8 day return policy only to be told that the store can no longer except the returns even though faulty unless they telephoned the Directory first to get permission to accept them

I hope you made a fuss!
I have had so many faulty items it's not funny! Today I was expecting a 3 pack of girls pyjamas and I got a pack of boys pants!!!!
Have sent back about 30% of items! managed to buy enough for my 4 kids and me for the next year though...
Sadly I think fd code expires today.
  • Boots still not arrived another phone call to them and they just said that its down to the courier who are self employed so may have been busy! I am so angry with them wish I hadn't bothered with it now, someone from the courier department is ringing me back within the next 24 hours so thats more delay on my order.

Next head office will be getting a letter about this!:mad:

Having same problem, made first order yesterday, had email to say 2 parcels had been delivered. Got home to find a dress bag with two dresses shoved through letterbox , no idea how they managed that. Courier tracking is saying both parcels were put through letterbox, only one received. Rang CS and have been told courier company will ring me back!
