Expat Travel Insurance

Hi, I am a french resident, looking for the best deal on travel insurance. Can anyone recommend a competitive insurance policy for ex-pats?

I have found a few sites online, but they look a bit dodgy. How can I be sure I am giving my money to a legitimate company?

Thanks

If you are resident in France, is there a reason not to arrange Travel Insurance is France ? I think in France, you may have to arrange through your local Insurance agent, as they still tend to have companies/brokers on the high street. I think AXA have a pretty dominant position in the French Insurance market, so you might find fewer options than in the UK. What about a French Travel agent ? Do they sell standalone Travel Insurance ?

There are companies that can arrange cover is most countries people are residing. One such reputable company is Worldnomads.com. But probably much more expensive than arranging cover locally.
The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.
