Help please, I spotted a camcorder on Amazon at a really good prid rder ance. I placed an order and recieved a confirmation e mail from Amazon that stated the following:
"Please note that for items ordered from Amazon.co.uk this e-mail is only an acknowledgement of receipt of your order and your contract to purchase these items is not complete until we send you an e-mail notifying you that the items have been dispatched to you. For items purchased from third parties in Marketplace, this e-mail confirms the completion of your contract to purchase those items."
They then cancelled the order with no reason given, I suspect they offered the camcorder at the wrong price!
Does anyone know if I have any comeback?

sounds like the seller cancelled either due to no stock or they noticed placed incorrect price on the product. Unfortunately you are unable to take it further.0

I had the exact format of cancellation notification. With no explanation.
Cannot be out of stock, they still have it listed on the Marketplace. Still advertised but at a 64% increase!!
They are surely breaking laws to accept an order and then cancel it and put the price up. If a high street chain did it there would be uproar!!0
