The is a known problem with the Thompson Sky+ box PSU (Power Supply Unit) which will eventually lead to the box staying in standby.Before that happens,the are a few things that can happen;failed recordings,Record/play ect not working,Loss of Satalite signal ect)Eventually the box will start going into standby then wont switch on at all.
The PSU problem can happen on any Sky box but Thompson's are notorious for it.0
