I would advise everyone to keep trying...
I eventually got through.
Also if you go through paypal at least you know you've only paid once, it crashed after I made the paypal payment, but then I checked e-mails and got payment notification from paypal, followed by order confirmation from Groupon about 10 mins later :T

I'd just keep trying it until you receive a confirmation email through. I think above someone mentioned you can cancel within 7 days (incase you got more than you needed!) And groupon should refund you the money if it was done by error.

Everytime I get another email through from someone I flinch!

Well i've finally managed to speak to them on the phone after trying for over an hour, they have confirmed that i've purchased 2 vouchers even though it kept crashing at the payment stage!! Now my daughter is busy choosing what she's gonna spend the money on.....

Been constantly refreshing the page - decided to do as someone else said and go for the paypal payment instead that way it can't charge me loads

HOWEVER - Ive just checked the 'my orders' tab and its come up with 4 more vouchers from when I tried to pay by card!!!! :eek: - they wernt there just now.... It says on 4 Asked for deal, payment method to be verified and the one I just got on paypal Deal accepted, waiting for the necessary number of customer. praying those others dont go through

Yay! got a voucher finally after about 30 attempts...
Used Paypal and payment has gone out for just the one voucher so I'm happy :-)

boo!! I was on there this morning and said to myself be good you don't need it! Got to work and realised I could cover birthdays etc with it and now can't get on. My own good behaviour is my downfall!

Hey everyone,

Never used Groupon before, can anyone tell me what happens if you buy a deal from a City that you dont live in?

Pants to bodyshop who are offering a free £5 body butter if you spend an extra £10, what about those people who dont like body butters?

I don't get it either! money for 1 voucher went out of my paypal account 1 hour ago but still no email to confirm or voucher number.

Also if I go to my groupon account I have 3 vouchers pending with the message: Asked for deal, payment method to be verified

I did have multiple attempts to pay with paypal but as far as I am concerned only one went through, anyone else have this?
