Santander Refuse £100 Incentive

Apparently on the basis of me 'not using the switching service' which I did, if only for the transfer of a single d/d from an account to satisfy the T&Cs.
They've written to me today to confirm this after I called to ask where it was. I'm pretty sure I've done everything as I needed to. Has anyone a copy of the T&Cs as I don't think I saved the email? I'm pretty sure it didn't state a salary had to be credited (mine can't as I work in another bank though I've put £1000+pm through it).
Has anyone else successfully appealed a similar decision?
Thanks in advance.

£100 will be paid into your new account within 3 months of account opening providing you have at least two active direct debits or standing orders (paid at least once) set up on the account within 11 weeks and have paid in at least £1,000 each month.
This is from the small print from their current promotion. It says you need at least two active DDs paid at least once.

That's the current one, I'm fairly certain the previous offer didn't make any mention of that.0 -

I can't help you with old T&C's, but this is going to be a difficult one as your going to have to get a hold of a copy to quote them.
Haven't they run some sort of staff incentive to switch to Santander as part of the branch sale, or are you still in the early days?Anything I post is my opinion, so from time to time I may be wrong. I try to provide answers based in fact, however I don't know everything, so (like all posters on MSE), take what I say with a pinch of salt.0 -

Funnily enough I've switched my main account internally to ensure it doesn't transfer to Santander.0 -

Yes this

says the same one active direct debit for the August 2010 offer.
When was the account opened and which account is it?0 -

That's the one and same. It's the one with the 5% interest for a year assuming £1000pm paid in. I wonder if they're trying it on based on the current offer?
Is there a geographic number to call the complaints line? Otherwise it can wait until Monday.0 -
When did you open the account?
The August offer finished and was replaced by another in early November 2010 the exact details of which I cannot find.0 -

End of August I think. I've called them in response to the letter and the guy seemed at a loss to explain why I'd be categorically told that I didn't qualify. He agreed that all 'appeared' in order and it was going to be reinvestigated.
There's a reason Santander got fined for their complaint handling process I guess.0
