Online secure picture viewer?

Hi

I'm wondering if anyone could help. I am a childminder and I have my own website but I would like to offer the parents a chance to view their child photos and/or online diary via my website using a picture viewer....Each child would have their own profile so only the parents of the child could access via a password etc.

Is there such a thing that I could add to my website?

A lot of childminders use Babysdays but I feel it would be a waste of most of the money as I am in wales so dont cover the same sort of things as english childminders...but I think the online diary and picture viewing would be a great thing for the parents so wondered if anyone has come across something like this that I could use?

Most hosting companies have cPanel which will include some from of CMS. Typically Joomla.

You can use this to create logins to specified areas of a site only. Helps if you know some basic SQL as well though as it needs a database to operate properly.

My partner hosts it {from his} via evohosting.

will check joomla now.

It appears that Evohosting have lots of CMS modules available for you to choose from. Might be worth playing around with a few to see what suits you best.

You would need very good security putting pictures of children you care for online, particularly in light of recent scandals relating to nurseries. Simple password protection would not be enough. Obviously no pictures would be posted without parent's permission, but you'd still have to be careful who else was in the pictures.

oh i'd get permission first no doubt, this is why i needed a very secure hence each person would need to identify the profile first etc.....if i cant find one which is like fort knox then I wouldnt use it for that very reason.
