Brit Gas switch Incentive

Hi,

I'm on EDF standard tariff ar the moment. British Gas say that they will give me 125. after 12 months if I switch onto their standard tariff. Currently pay monthly fixed 76. via d/d to EDF for dual fuel.

Does this seem like a good deal? It looks cheaper overall than trapping myself into an online saver rate.

Naturally i'm tied in if I want the 125 I guess, but companies have only just increased their prices.

Hi,
I am in the process of changing from scottish power to british gas.
British gas are giving me £100 once i have been with them for 12 months.
The sales rep told me i had to go onto the standard tariff to trigger the discount but as soon my supply starts with them i can call them the same day and switch to which ever tariff i want.
I am planning on going onto the websaver 10 tariff as this is this cheapest one. The only downside is that you are tied in till the end of feb 2012 but i have to stay with them for 12 months to be able to get my £100 discount.
