Integrated Appliance - Doors (Ikea)

Hi,

We have settled on an Ikea kitchen but I am not buying the integrated appliances from them. Do I just need to order standard doors for the integrated appliances (Dishwasher, Tumble Dryer & Cooker hood) as I cannot find specific appliance doors on their website?

Any help appreciated.

Mark

Yes, integrated appliances come in standard sizes. For the dishwasher, you need to decide on integrated or semi-integrated, as there are 2 styles. Check if Ikea do both first.

I would choose the appliances first.

BTW.....integrated tumble driers are mega expensive!

Thanks for the reply but I already have the appliances (fully integrated), the question was about whether I need 'special' appliance doors with special brackets (in the same style as the other cupboard doors) or not as I can't find them on the Ikea website.

Yeah, tumble wasn't cheap at £189 but I don't want one sitting on the worktop and I already have an expensive washing machine so a Washer Dryer is not an option.

In their (paper) kitchens brochure they just call them "door for dishwasher, washing machine". They do 600 x 570 (for semi-integrated dishwashers); 500 x 700 (irritatingly, they don't do a 450 door for a slimline dishwasher - except a steel one) and 600 x 700.

We have an integrated dishwasher and that was just a standard door. Don't have any other integrated appliances so can't vouch for anything else.

The fittings come with the appliance. So all you need are the correct sizes of doors.

We have fitted an integrated fridge, and an integrated D/W and F/F for our daughter....all normal doors.

Sorry, I was thinking of the integrated condenser dryers, for some reason they seem to be much more expensive.
