I have been feeding my two 9 month old rescue cats that we got 5 weeks ago who are now around 3kg each the recommended amount of this according to the manufacturer which is 20-30g per day for a small cat
"On average a small cat weighs around 3.4kgs, a medium cat around 4.3kgs and a large cat over 5kgs."
My only issue is that it is a tiny tiny amount - they each get an egg cup full each morning and night.....
They look very healthy on it and my 1.5kg back will last a long time :money: but just can't quite get over the tiny amount. Anyone else have similar problems with feeding according to the packet, not free-feeding?
They constantly roam around looking for scraps but then so did my previous cat who had free-fed food
(supermarket though, not premium). How do you know if a cat is thin?
