  • I've just discovered that Anglo Irish Bank have a 1 year fixed rate saver paying 5.85% (rate from 15th Nov).

I've never come across this bank before and wondered if anyone had any views as to whether this was a good place to put my money. What's there customer service like? I've checked the T&Cs and can't see anything unusual.

I had been considering Coventry Building Society's 5.8% but didn't like their withdrawal clause even on matrurity.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Many Thanks,
    Mark
