Indorex, yes that's the one I've used & it's very good.0 -
Great advice here and I would definitely second the drops method. However, do not waste your money on cheap spot ons from the pet store - that was how my house got fleas in the first place - get the good stuff sold via vets. We now use advantage which also worms the cats too - try getting a tablet down my cats throat - not easy;)0

Our cat recently had fleas and someone recommended
http://www.vetuk.co.uk/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&search_in_description=1&keyword=cat+fleas
We bought Frontlineat £9.39. We also did the house with
Acclaimat £11.49.
Think prices include delivery (not sure).
I have nothing to do with the website, but these products really work.
Good luck0 -
had a quick scam through the other posts and i dont mean to sound silly but have you been emptying the hoover after each use, if not then fleas will still be alive in the hoover! we had this roblem many years ago my old female cat took up with a rarther large flea infestid tom cat and we had a nightmare trying to de flea the house, used vetkem from vets and frontline and lots of hoovering and always had a cup of water by the sofa to put the fleas in when we found them on us if we were quick enought to catch them, god that sounds really minging and it was lol, but after getting the cat spayed she didnt get visits from this tom cat anymore
good luck!

Just to point out that (unless there is a new version out) Advantage doesn't treat worms - Stronghold does - is that what you meant Maxiscot? Also, it only certain type of worm, not tapeworm, so you still need to treat separately for them. HTH0 -
i trick i found out that helps is to light a candle and place it in a bowl of water in a saucer, the fleas are attracted to the heat and light from the candle and jump towards it into the water in the saucer.
i put 1 in every room once a week, it really helps.
ps abviously be carefull with the unatteded candles.
thanks0 -

Blimey, I can see many a tail scorched cat here! Each to their own though! Might work if your cat isn't as stupid as mine are and try to sniff the flame! I have a lovely selection of unlit candles cos of them!
