I have just opened accounts with santander and halifax as they were apparently the best buy Top in credit ones.
But now I notice at the bottom of the article details of the Lloyds Vantage and must say I was really surprised to find that not mentioned either in best bank or best savings.
Is this because there is some sort of catch which I have not noticed - only 4% interest on balances upto £7,000 seems to me to be a very good deal.
Love to hear back on this
Looked into the first Direct regular savings, but you need to have their current account - so thats out for me

As long as you transfer £1,000 out each month and back in the next day to meet the funding requirement the account will pay the interest advertisedCashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

And you need to have between £5k and £7k to get the 4%.0

I have about 3 Vantages accounts and find them brilliant as saving accounts. I just transfer the same £1,000 around the three accounts at the beginning of the month.0

OP, no catch at all and lots of people on here have them including myself and family members. I believe the Vantage accounts slip the net on the various rate comparison sites and savings articles as they are a current account not a savings account. Enjoy.MFW Start Date 1.4.08. As the santander 5% accounts only run for a year, this really does seem ideal.
And with it being a current account there is obviously no penalties for withdrawals.
Should of read the entire article and not just the top half of the page lol :rotfl:Typically confused and asking for advice0
