Yes it was very rewarding thanks
:j:j
Isn't Keel partly above the waterline, the question does say the bottom of the boat.
Yeah can't think of the chocolate wonder which type of pass out they mean?
I'm not sure tbh! I'm assuming the Keel is the middle bit? The bottom of the v (or u) shape if you look down the length? And the Hull is the part that comes up from that bit to make the boat shape?
Edit: Wikipedia seems to suggest it's the beam the boat is built around? :rotfl: I'm thinking this is another one where it's open to debate, if they mean the bottom of the boat on the outside, or the bottom of the boat from the inside??0 -
Could the second one be Flake ( as in pass out ) ??0

Quote from forum:
'It looks like once again we have a double 'fit' with one of the questions!!
Of course there are two UK place names that fit this question:
Today's Questions are:
Bottom of the boat
The Mystery Prize question: Pass out'
Looks as if they will accept Keele or Hull
No idea on the Pass Out thoughThanks to all OP's your efforts are much appreciated :A0 -
I did consider Celebrations earlier, but was in the garden centre at the time, and only just got back to find shazjack had posted same
To consider we have
Celebrations (as in the Tv advert to pass around)
Flake (to faint)
Maltesers (as in the Tv advert to pass around)
No clues on their website eitherASK A WOMAN HOW SHE FEELS
AND SHE'LL OPEN HER HEART AND TELL YOU HER
FEARS, HOPES AND DREAMS
ASK A MAN WHAT HE FEELS AND HE'LL TELL YOU
HE FEELS LIKE A PIZZA0 -
Keel: Nautical . a central fore-and-aft structural member in the bottom of a hull
I would go with hull, I think it's the whole bottom of the boat.
I think Ratgirl is right with flake for the second.A strong man stands up for himself, a stronger man stands up for others.0 -
I'm going to go with RatGirl's suggestion of 'Flake' too I think, it seems the most likely answer, unless it's supposed to be a two word answer and we're looking for alternative words for 'pass' and 'out'? Like with the 'Awesome road' one being 'Quality Street' but I can't think of anything that would fit.
They've obviously realised that both Keele and Hull fit for the first one (from the quote from their forum, posted by sassy165 earlier) so it shouldn't matter which one we put, or if we put both.0 -
