Very funny.
There's a house near us that had to be re-let after the previous occupier was murdered on the premises. That took a while.
There is another house quite near us that was occupied by someone that had pictures he really should not have had on his computer, now serving at Her Majesty's pleasure. Not selling and really quite cheap. I'm at the point of considering whether we would live there...
I know about these things because nothing ever really happens here and for some reason my neighbour knows about everything that happens within a 5 miles radius and exactly who was involved. If he doesn't, then my hairdresser does, but I can understand how they get to hear everything.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

usually they knock down houses of ill repute
one question I have asked before, do the killers get compensation when the house gets flattened. Did the Wests get anything for Cromwell Road before it was turned into an alleyway?0 -
Somebody hanged themselves in my last house, allegedly. Didn't bother me.0

I clicked on the link and was completely taken in at first thinking that the one with the body in the garden must be the cheapest one :rotfl:
How green am I? To top it all I live less than 10 miles away :wall:Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life. ~Confucius0 -
I used to rent a bedsit in a house in london and discovered after about six months that someone had previously been murdered in the downstairs flat, but it was a bit late by then to make a fuss! Anyway, between the Romanians in the next bedsit who used to use up all the hot water after we'd put 50p in the meter, the night security guard with a massive b.o. problem (even after having a bath, it just smelt fresher then) and the lady upstairs who would entertain gentlemen callers during the day, it didn't seem like the worst thing about the place! I moved out after the landlord had the bathroom window nailed permanently open by an inch to prevent mould problems.0

Must admit, I'm the kind of weirdo who would find that interesting. My nan lived in a house in which two men committed suicide. We used to call it the Death House. Funnily enough, there were some spooky goings on there, as I remember.0
