Hi
If anyone can help this would be great.
Ive seen online esa50 form, the very first question on physical functions is walking and using steps.
The question is only asking about walking and using steps if you use a walking stick or crutches.
What about about people who do not use these aids but still have difficulty walking and getting out of breath and discomfort.
im sure the last esa form i filled in covered people who use such aids and those that dont.
Does anybody know?

It's really, really important to understand that the ESA50 form is not the ultimate thing, it's based on the underlying descriptors and legislation - see this reply of mine for more info.

Apply today over the phone if you haven't already - that way your claim for ESA will be on the current ESA50, not the newer one.
As I understand it - I don't think the changes have come in yet - they are harder to pass!0 -
The new forms are not out yet I dont think, not till march if I recall. Its caused a bit of a stink as welfare rights people cant get hold of the forms in advance, so are unable to prepare themselves in order to help people.
Not that it makes much difference at the initial stages, they never read my forms.
Worth putting as much info as possible, just in case you do get someone at ATOS or DWP who actually does a proper job, but dont bank on it.
The real worth from being as detailed as possible will come later at a tribunal for many.[greenhighlight]but it matters when the most senior politician in the land is happy to use language and examples that are simply not true.

The impact of this is to stigmatise people on benefits,
and we should be deeply worried about that[/redtitle](house of lords debate, talking about Cameron)0
