Plumers - Sparks tips advice...

Hi there
So, I completed on my house last Friday - dads freind runs a plumbing and elec business and came on Saturday morning to give me a quote - I needed the full hit...
Full rewire - plus house alarm
Full Bathroom refit
Combi and 7 heaters
Gas fitting for cooker
4 old fires removed... etc etc ...
I know this sounds too good to be true but they started on Monday morning and they are half way through... all corgi and p-reg certs will be included.
So, my question is: there are two main men and three apprentices - they have given me excellent prices and I need to know how much of a tip I should give...
Any advice would be great.... :j

Nothing, it is their job and they are being paid. This tipping thing is ridiculous.

There is no real need to tip them as it is there job(as mentioned above) but if you feel you have got a very good price and they do a really good job why not it thats what you want to do..

Its good to be on good terns with them especially if you think you will need to deal with them in the future.

l would not tip them, they get paid enough as it is, or if they dont get paid enough then in a few years time they will be making lots of money.

Their is no law regarding tips, not being greedy or that but why tip, rather gave me money to the homeless

If you think that they have done a really good job, then why not just buy them something simple - bottle of booze etc. I've always been bowled over when someone has done that to me, but money is just money and it doesn't make too much difference.
