I am just glad that my other children are only 4 and 1 and cannot see what a failure I am.

How is trying to help yourself being a failure? You're taking steps to sort your situation out, that's called being proactive and taking control

You will be teaching them a better lesson by showing them how to get through hard times, you just cant see that yet. And I know they are too young to really know whats going on.

People in far bigger than yourself have made it through to the other side, so dont fret

Stop talking like this. You will drag yourself even further down.

Things are tough but things can improve.

Talk to CCCS about the temp DMP.
Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.
  • Just having a bad day and feeling sorry for myself. I know things will get better.

I get a bonus in June which should be about £1000 pounds after tax so that should really help and am due another pay rise which will be at leat another 50 a month from June also.
  • I am dreading a drop in tax credits from next month though even though most people seem to think I will not receive a drop I am scared I will.

Will a temp DMP not screw things up for the future? Not sure how much it would help either. A few months freezing the debt cant really help as most of the debt is interest free anyway.
  • My bank balance is now at zero. So if I dont sort things out soon I will be hitting my overdraft.
