this is a bit late but you should not have closed down the 7k card either, you should have phoned them up and asked if they had any offers.
Call barclaycard and ask them if you can transfer part of the virgin amount over as a LOB deal.
Creation is an easy card to get but you will only get around 1.5k limit0 -

There was no offer on the £7k card, I did ask
Barclaycard said to check my account online. No offers either?
I just need around £2 to £3k limit purely to help me reduce the last bit of the balance. The card will not be used.
