I did a thread y'day on norwich union wanting 50.00 per month for critical life insurance this is because my husband is on the compulsary reserve list after leaving the army in 2002
This is alot of money and we are on a low income, our morgage is 45.600 and we have 22 years left
My mum tells me to cancel the premimum but I am worried it is not the right thing to do what does anyone else think, Are they a waste of money
we do have pp

If you cancel, you will be unprotected and in the event of a claimable event, it will cost you a lot more. Maybe ask NU to requote on those terms without CI cover so you at least have the life cover.
PP is a complete waste of money for your husband as that will have so many exclusions due to his occupation.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
