Ultralase Comp

Has anyone ever entered a competition to do with ultralase, and since then been plagued by emails from them? I entered one a while back (cant remember what for) and got an email saying I'd won second prize which was so much percent off treatment ( clearly marketing nonsense), since then I am continously getting emails off them about it. I did email them and say "great! how many people won second prize", strangely enough never got a reply.

On a side, I talked to my optician who advised that although this kind of treatment workd, most people would still have to wear corrective lenses!

I get the same, its just one of a load of junk that gets instantly deleted. Came back from holiday to nearly 500 e-mails, only about 10 of any use.

Is there no unsubscribe link in the emails? If not, you could try contacting them by email and asking to be removed. If this doesn't work then you can write to them via snail mail and demand it - I believe that under the Data Protection Act they have to remove your details.
