Ok. What is LO?

I have spoke to the bailiff this morning for proof of the debt, he said he didn't have it so i contacted the council who say i owe £523.70 from 1st Feb 06 - 1 Aug 06. They said they only got notified that i was in there by the landlord in the November. I know i should of told the council i was there but when i signed the agreement with the estate agents, i was told they would let the council know which is frustrating.

Am being told by the bailiff to get in touch today as he won't have my paperwork after tomorrow, what does he mean?

The council said if i am completely not happy dealing with the debt company then write to them explaining it all and they will make a decision on wether to take the debt back and set a repayment up with myself.

The LO is for £523.70 and he is allowed to add £24.50 to this for the first visit when no levy was made.

I would strongly advise you to make arrangments with the Council if you can, but they will insist that you pay the bailiff £24.50.

Ok.

Would you contact the council via a letter as they said and see were i get with this or set up an arrangement with the bailiff?
