Tiscali.busy server

For the last 3 or 4 evenings tiscali servers have been too busy in the evenings to access my emails. Has anyone else had this problem this week?

Try using your email account with Outlook or Thunderbird.

pop.tiscali.co.uk and smtp.tiscali.co.uk are the servers you need, plus your email address and password

I'm glad to say I've now escaped Tiscali's clutches, but my email account still works

I have been having problems getting online with my tiscali broadband for the last few days Saturday and Wednesday I couldn't get online

I had server busy last night so couldnt access emails.

I've been with Tiscali for 2 years now, and have never had a problem - I must be one of the lucky ones by the sounds of it.

Been with them 2 months - not had any problems. Been on every night this week with no probs also.

No problems with emails here but getting into secure websites i.e. HMV / Play / eBay accounts and most importantly my bank account is nigh on impossible. Been through techincal service to no avail - escalated to HQ in Milton Keynes and still nothings improved. I'm getting rid as soon as I can find a better alternative.

I have been able to get online OK but I have noticed that it is slow at times to access e-mails. Earlier this week (Monday, I think) the e-mail was off completely. I read somewhere else on MSE that Tiscali were working on the web site.
