IVA and student income

Hi there i am hoping someone can shed some light on this,
my husband and me are going for a meeting at the CAB on wednesday to talk to an IVA specialist but i am wondering as i am a student will they include my studnet loans and grants as income? as the last meeting we have with the CAB came up with a much higer payment amount than we ere expecting, it seems as though she did incude my student income along with my husbands full time job income.
But i have noticed that only my parking and petrol costs to get to and from uni have been included in her cost workings out yet i also need books and stationary.
I am now worried that if we go for this IVA on the amounts the CAB lady is suggesting then i will not be able to carry on with uni which there is no chance in hell i want to do as i am doing this to make our lives better.

Hi Isis -- the allowances are not set in stone by CAB -- they are merely following guidelines. Put forward all of your actual expenditure --- any repayment into your IVA must be affordable. YOU know what your expenses are... CAB don't!0
