C660 Keyboard issue

I bought a Toshiba C660-11K from Dabs: http://www.dabs.com/products/toshiba-satellite-c660-11k---intel-core-i3-370m---4gb---320gb---windows-7-home-premium--15-6--laptop-77M8.html

It has a keyboard issue - where it skips letters typed or types double letters

Other people have noticed it too:

I have tried all the suggestions except updating the BIOS - where can I get the correct BIOS update for the computer? (not having much luck with the Toshiba website navigation)

It happened a bit when I first got it but I didn't think too much off it - but it is getting progressively worse. What options do I have if BIOS update doesn't fix it? (forum reports suggest replacing the keyboard and motherboard don't work)

any other suggestions?
has anyone else had this problem?
