Hi there
Hubby has just left his job - he worked his notice - we are going to go for constructive dismissal. Long story - employers were a bully to him.
Now we are wondering what next - I know he will have to go to job centre. What benefits will he get - when - how can we survive on one wage. He already has started applying for other jobs.
Really worried.
thank you.

He may be able to claim JSA but he's likely to be sanctioned due to leaving his job early. Whether you're entitled to other benefits such as Council Tax Benefit, Housing Benefit, Mortage Interest Payments etc... depends on your household income.
If you put your details in to the benefits calculators below you will get an idea of what you may be able to claim but be aware that some of the benefits may be subject to a sanction.

I sincerely hope you got excellent legal advice before he left his job. Constructive dismissal is one of the hardest cases to prove, I think only 3% of all CD cases brought are won.0
