I had a nose bleed

On our wedding night there was a terrific storm and a sheep in the field outside was struck by lightening

You had your wedding night in a tent????
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.

At my wedding to my ex, we'd had the photo's done at the church, and then had some done by the Rolls Royce. Most people left for the reception while we were getting those pics taken.

The photographer packed up and left as we were getting into the car. The man started the car and it lurched forward and we ended up in a raised flower bed off the car park. My ex and the best man had to push the car off the flower bed, then the driver realised his brake pipes had ripped, so he couldn't take us to the reception.

We had to hitch a lift with the best man, as he was the only left at the church with a car by then!

Married again in April and our wedding party was trying to coax the other hotel guests into joining us doing the Amarillo walk at 1am :o:D
Here I go again on my own....

Neither of us had gotten married before, so when we wen tot the registrar, we had no idea what woudl be involved - we just wanted to get wed.

Anyhoo, all the details were taken, special licence woudl be needed for quickie marriage, 'come back tomorrow.'

Ooh, we thought we were getting married tomorrow. So, rush around making sarnies, and phoning mums. We all turned up at the registry office the following day, at the allotted time, much to the surprise of teh registrar.

He had simply asked us to return to sign the paperwork for the licence, and we coudl book for the following week. There were about 30 people crammed into his office, and the poor chap looked thoroughly bemused.

We did marry the following week. It was the same registrar _ I think he wanted to see what else we could manage to !!!! up.

5 yrs later we were blessed in Church.
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.

The hotel where i had my reception had 3 different venues and one large garden.
My wedding party was in one part of the gardens having our pics done when another bide and groom walked into the other part of the gardens-
She was wearing the same dress

I thought it was funny but she stormed off scowling:rotfl:

Also at the evening do the dj kept calling us kerry and pez - whoever they are. Iwent up and told him that wasn't our names and he just nodded (it was very loud) and then carried on calling us kerry and pez:eek:

I had to takse the mic off him and say loudly into it "are you at the wrong wedding because my names laura and if you keep calling me kerry you will have to find her to pay you" He got our names right after that:T
:p It is better to be thought of as an idiot than to open your mouth and remove all doubt

We got married in September 1998 in Dominican Republic. It was 41 degrees and far too hot. Dye from my hubby's shirt ran into his light coloured suit. When we were getting our photos done on the beach the photographer told my husband to pick a flower from my bouquet and throw it into the water and make a wish. I presumed he would say something romantic but uttered 'I wish it was colder!!!' I also tripped getting into our carriage and gave everyone an eyeful!!!

Mu husband has just informed that he was gong to say 'I wish I had a pint!!!!!

  • I was 8 weeks pregnant when we got married and I had hyperemesis. (Extreme pregnancy sickness - as I have again at the moment.) I was very ill all night, made it through till about 10pm before spending all night being sick again. Spent our honeymoon in hospital.

Okay, not so funny, but certainly not quite to plan. (The pregnancy was planned though!)
