Integrated applicences kitchen fitters advice?

Hi,

We are having integrated appliences installed in our new kitchen. I was wondering if they tend to fit fluch against the wall at the back or if there is anyt sort of a gap?

One appliance a Bosch washer dryer WKD28350GB says it has a depth of 584mm and the cabinates are only 575mm!

We really don't have much space to play with as per the design. I don;t understand how this is going to fit!

Not sure of the worktop depth I am afraid. The issue is that space is so tight on the deign I am not sure we could bring the cabinates out from the wall at all. (hope that makes sense!) i.e. the sink cabinate cannot move right at all.

Also just realised the cab depth is only 570mm!! I think this includes the service bit. Just standard cook and lewis b&q carcase.

The washer dryer goes to the right of the oven so under the cab marked 20.

There is a integrated fridge freezer in the dark blue cab

finally an integraded dishwasher in in the cab under the drainage board!

Due to be fitted in 2 weeks getting nervous!!

Especially as there are 5mm thick electic back plates behind each appliance as well so I will lose 5mm straight away!

Cheers for your help. I know it is hard from the plan!

Cheers. Yes this is just a filler 27mm so it can go but as you say this only solves the issue one side.

The problem with the gap where the towel rail is that is also where the kitchen stop tap is so we can't make that space any smaller!

I have had them out a couple of times and the only comment was that I wouldn't be able to plug the integrated appliences in to the plugs which are situated behind them. These are being replaced by flex plates which the appliences will be hard wired into the sparky just stuck sockets on as that's what he had to hand.

I guess we will just have to stop worrying and see how it goes!

The dishwasher is slimline. Another solution that might buy us some space is to just go for a freestanding slimline dishwasher?

Do you know if the integrated appliences tend to have any space at the back or normally fit flush to the wall?

Think the dishwasher and fridge are both about 550mm deep but the washer dryer seems to the the one that might be a problem!

    Cheers D

Going to drop them an e-mail the diagrams here http://www.bosch-home.co.uk/WKD28350GB.html?source=search seem to contradict each other.

This one http://media2.bosch-home.com/Files/Bosch/Gb/en/ProductFiles/ProductImages/DrawingImages/UnLocalize/MCZ_009817_WKD28540EE_def.jpg?Width=500 Shows the depth including the door as 584.

Built-in appliances are absolutely fine at first, but in a few years time when they need repair or replacement you'll really wish you hadn't ...

    Thanks,

I know the perils of integrated v free standing and have considered the pro's and cons. Not so worried about the repair and replacement. I just want them to fit in the first place!

It's a tiny kitchen so integrated will look nicer.
