  • Update for a previous post! I have received my payout now. I had my last payment on monday (27th Feb) and have received the reward today (2nd Mar). It shows as "Repayment Reward
Personal Loan" and your sort code and account number. I've been checking my bank online every day waiting for this and some info to supply to anyone in the same boat - The payment doesnt show in your pending payments prior to showing in your account - I also checked my bank account at 7.30 this morning and it wasnt showing and then at 10 and it was so it goes in during the working day.

Hope you are all as happy as me when you get yours!!

Is it a case of all HSBC personal loans issued over the last couple of years have this repayment award??

I have had a 4 year loan automatically taken via DD so should be receiving the reward but tried applying for a new loan to see the amount to be received and there was nothing :(

Would the telephone banking be able to confirm if i would receive this or not?

    Regrds
Just check your loan agreement forms - it will show on there whether you had the offer, from memory, it was a 'special offer' they did from time to time, so no, it didn't cover all loans taken out

w/o getting our argeement out, I cant be certain, but am reasonably sure one of the clauses was if you repaid the loan early then you forfeited the repayment reward.
  • thank u,i thought this might be the case booooohoooo, but does any one no if im entitled to anything for payin my loan of early? kind regards x

    just to update our situation.
last loan payment 25/1 reward paid 30/1.
as speadsheetpete stated 'It shows as "Repayment Reward

Was almost £1100 for us so was nice to receive :j
  • Does anyone now if changing my bank from HSBC to another bank will have an effect on the cashback? I still am paying the loan, but obviously it is now taken from another bank, it's due up in about 6 months.
