Hi, this is a really long shot.
I am thinking of buying a laser hair removal device called E-One by E-Swin. It is very expensive and quite new here so not much info online. However it seems to be more established in France where it is made and they have a forum there...

I have tried putting various bits into an online translator - not hugely successful - but I am hoping there may be someone here who could spare a few minutes to browse the French forum and let me know if it sounds good.
I know the price is not very MSE but if I had salon treatment I would have to travel and pay a lot of money so owning this device would be really convenient for me in both time and money.
Fingers crossed someone can help - before I get mistaken for Magnum PI ( and I am a lady!)

In brief - people seem to have mixed results, some love it, some find it useless, and others complaining it's broken!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
Thanks, I really want one, but I wonder just how readily they honour the 6 month satisfaction guarantee? ( and the 5 year warranty too)It is a lot of money to risk,to be honest I had expected rave reviews considering the price.
Thanks for taking the time to read it for me.

I use google chrome & that will translate evry page for you the results are usually pretty good, try this link & see if it works it has translated the 1st page for me http://www.epilateur-optique.com/forum/index.php?sid=2565837f02f961c77e4ac4b9bea2eb2bBooo!!!0

Thanks very much! I have already downloaded google chrome but tend to use Firefox out of habit. I gave it a go and it has translated for me - so I can settle down with a coffee and a have good read later on.
I am very sad that pinkshoes has already told me the reviews are mixed - at over £1k you would think the company would be bending over backwards to sort out anyone who is not happy with their product. No wonder it has not really taken off the UK.0 -
From what I can tell, it's mixed reviews which you'll always get with products like this.
Some people think it's efficent and a reasonable price and others haven't had the same sucess, however there are more positives than negatives.
Hope that helps:)0 -
Glad to have helped, I have found that translator really helpful. I've not had a good look is it really over a grand!! It seem's similar to the boots IPL thing which is £281.90 apologies if I'm on the wrong track. There is a thread on the IPL system on here , I've not used it myself, wish I could find some thing to defuzz without pain I use an epilator at the moment but it's the best of a bad lot tbh.Slinky_Malinky wrote: »Thanks very much! Yes it really is over a grand
This one offers permanent hair removal (10-12 treatments then top up once or twice a year) while the Boots one offers permanent hair reduction so I guess you would have to keep using that regularly forever. Looking at their website it has been featured and recommended in a few popular publications.
I would love to get rid of as much body hair as possible - lady `tache, armpits, legs and nether regions. I could never afford to have all that done at a salon. I am very tempted to try it, I have chatted online with them and feel reassured that I can return for a refund within 6 months if it does not suit me. Never treated myself to anything so expensive before.
ETA - the E-One can be used on the face too, some of the other IPL systems can`t.0 -
I can't pretend to know much about this, but it sounds very much similar to the Boots Smooth Skin, which is certainly not £1000. It is usually £249 or periodically reduced to £199.
I got it with my Boots points ages ago after reading so many positive reviews on here - it really DOES work.

Edit: just seen that Boots have put the price up on this!! It's now £281 on 'special offer'. It used to be less than that at full price!0 -
Thanks, I see the Boots one is now suitable to use on the face.
Still wavering, even thought the other one is so expensive I am tempted by the fact it provides hair removal rather than just reduction.0 -
