working 5hrs p/week - JSA?

Hi all, looking for some advice in regards to benefits.
I've been holding down two jobs whilst studying accounting for just over a year. Full time agency work (40hrs p/w) and a weekend job at a high street retailer.
I've recently been laid-off at the agency and only working 5hrs p/w on a Saturday. I've asked for extra hours at my weekend job, but my supervisor says that the company isn't doing very well and is actually over staffed.
I've put in a claim for JSA, but haven't heard anything for just over 2 weeks.
Would the 5hrs I'm working affect any JSA I receive (if successful) ?
Thanks in advance

Are you studying part time? If you are a single person, any earnings over £5 will be deducted from your JSA.Gone ... or have I?0

Yep, as long as you would be willing to give up your studies if it interfered with your ability to find work, you will be eligible for JSA.Gone ... or have I?0
