They said they would cancel other ROOMS.
They did not say they would cancel other nights.
This is of course my interpretation, but that's the way I read it.
Blindingly obvious in my mind, they hope you will make a weekend of it or whatever.I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing!
Quidco and Topcashback, £4,569

What happens if you want to stay for more than 1 night then?0

Can you book 2 rooms if one is for my husband and son and another for my daughter and I
You can only book 1 room at the £1 rate (if you book more they will be cancelled).
You could of course go back and book a second room but then you risk having to take it at a higher rate.
Bit unfair for families but I think they are trying to spread the offer out rather than some greedy b**** taking it in one go.0 -

You have to make 2 bookings.
Obviously that's a risk because you don't know what the price will be, but worst case you could go to another hotel or only stay one night.I e-mailed the Hotel to check. Just had reply stating "Maximum of 1 room per person for 1 night only". so no, sadly we can't book for several nights.
Thanks very much for the clarification as that's not how I read it.Blindingly obvious in my mind
not to me or many other people it seems.0 -

An alternative strategy is to try and book 2 nights and hope for 2 at £29, which is cheaper than 1 and £1 and 1 at £79 (which is what you might get if you are delayed).
I might try this strategy.0 -
I am still not quite clear. Can I book 2 different Saturday nights a couple of weeks apart?0

They can only make this offer by making it non-cancellable.
If you have a valid reason (like death or serious illness) then your travel insurance might cover it, but mine does not cover UK weekends away and of course there would be an excess.
I wouldnt be too bothered about losing a pound! Unless you mean they would charge me full cost if I didnt turn upBeing bored is so boring Im bored of it... :rotfl:0 -
Good question I hope to book too and would like to know what to do to get ready0
