Ask them if you had it.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -

Hi Marty
As dunstonh says, you could contact them and maybe they will still hold the details, therefore they should confirm if PPI was added or not. Good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

Hi Di,
Thanks for replying, if they don't hold the details is there any other way of finding out?

Hi there
Can you remember the year you paid this off?
If settled within the last 6 years, its possible they will still hold info from this.
You could optionally request for a Subject Access Request (SAR), you enclose £10 cheque or postal order, they have 40 calendar days to comply.
There is a letter template below link, tweak to your requirements if you want to, and if you no longer have the account number, give them as many details as possible, full name, any address you lived in at the time you taken the account out, and any different surname etc, and date of birth, this will help them to try to track down the data for you.
